CLEARING UP TEMPORARY FILES ON WINDOWS XP

Caching refers the copying of temporary files by programs or the operating system (in this case Windows XP) to temporary folders for faster access. For example if you open a progressive-streaming windows media file directly from the Internet, a copy of the file is downloaded to a temporary location on your hard disk so that you can watch it.
