Step 3 - The button panel
So we have the shape of the iPod, a green background so now we need the buttons panel.
Create a new layer called ' Inner Panel ' And then
select the Elliptical Marquee tool and set its style to 'Fixed' and set these values:
Width: 64px
Height: 64px
Then with the marquee at a fixed size click about in the center of the 3d base and about a 15px margin from the top of the
base and fill the marquee in with the following colour:
#dbd8d8
Then right click on ' Outer Panel ' in the layer panel and select 'blending options' then tick & select 'Bevel & Emboss'
and set these values:
Style: Inner Bevel
Technique: Smooth
Depth: 100%
Size: 5
Soften: 9
Angle: 140
Tick: Use global light
Altitude: 32
Highlight Mode: screen (Colour: White #ffffff)
Opacity: 75%
Shadow Mode: Multiply (Colour: Black #000000)
Opacity: 45%
Once you have set those values tick & select 'Stroke' and set these values:
Size: 1
Position: Outside
Blend mode: normal
Opacity: 25%
Colour: Black (#ffffff)
And now you have a green background wiht a 3d - like base on it which has a a grey button on it with some inner bevel.
